Here's a suggestion for fixing Elfwood's throughput problem: Queue seems to be hovering around 2500. That means the rate of tickets being processed is roughly equal to the rate of incoming tickets. It doesn't take a mathematician to figure out that if the queue was "zapped" then turnaround time on a ticket would be a day!! So just write a script to auto-approve all tickets in the queue, let the ERB catch any noncompliant pieces out of that 2500, and go on your merry way. It would be a small sacrifice to make a lot of people happier.Quite apart from the fact that I don't (can't) do any coding, this is a very bad idea.
People see lots of art that breaks the rules come in, think it's OK, and submit more of it, making the future queues more slow because we need to reject more.
Apart from that: Judging from the time it takes for an image I report until it's taken down, the ERB is stretched thin as it is, and can't handle such a huge load of work on top of that.
