I don't know what order you have done these, so some are better than others. I too reccommend more shading and values. You have a strong writing ability, so it would be great if your art consistently matched the intensity of your writing. This is not a critisism, but an encouragement for you to be a formidable force in the art world. Yeah, a lot of these are old, from before I started really paying attention to what I was doing. A lot of this stuff is kept for sentimentallity, or to remind myself how far I've come. One thing I love about Elfwood is how all of your guys encourage me to be better. I probably wouldn't have had the motivation without all of you! *Loves*

Wow... What your wote on your opening page is brilliant. I feel the same way with many of my works. But I never really took the time to think about it. But what you've written reflects exactly how I feel. Wonderful wording might I add.
Your drawing are wonderful as well. So much color, some happy, and some not so, but all equally splendid. My favorite has to be 'Nothing But the Dead and Dying..." I'm not sure why, but I love it. Yeah, my bio seems to have really resonated with some people. I appreciate that, because as an artist I consider it my 'job' to take elements of my life and rearrange them so people can see themselves in it. I'm glad I succeeded.

ur arts kool,u should try getting copics to color with their fantastic and amazing....infact i just got a set of 74 and i'll eventually(im lazy lol)upload the pics.u should get a Deviantart account to, its the best art site ever! but this site is ok too...sry..anyway nice art!!!^_^ I normally work with Sanford Col-Erase for skin tones, it's the only brand I've found that I can blend satisfactorily with. I use Prismas for brighter colours, along with some Dewitt Artists Pencils.

I'm you're creepy stalker ha ha ha ha ha... just kidding. No, see, the weird thing is I did have this guy that was kinda stalking me for a while there, so it's funny you should say that.

Hey Rebekah! I just stopped by to wish you happy holidays and a lot of artistic mood and inspiration in the coming year! Hope to see your new works in Elfwood soon. Cheers!2 Hey! I've been so bad about this lately ... so many ideas in my head that I can't seem to finish anything. I have a pic of Rafael that I've been working on for over three months. I just get distracted. I have the attention span of a concussed kitten, I swear.

Nice work, I get the feeling you haven't reached your full potential, so don't fret too much, it looks like you're definitely improving. Just keep working on it, check out some of the tutorials around here, and try working with photo references. You know, I think photo references have been my saviour in the past year. Thanks for setting me on that path in the first place. I owe you a virtual cookie.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to stop by my gallery and giving such lovely comments. 2 It's really appreciated. Secondly, I can agree with you completely about your personal stance on art. I have that where I flip through old sketches and wonder what the hell was going through my mind when I was creating the image.

I am forever reclusive and uneasy before my own works. I stand before them in utter horror, somewhere along the lines of:
“Who created this junk?”
“You know very well it was me.”
“I knew I wasn’t suppose to put anything down.”

Take heart, you'll always be improving. Ever artist does, even if the process takes longer than we want it to half the time. But you have a good grasp on colours and the various tones given to them, so keep on going. Even if you think it's junk, someone somewhere else will think it to be beautiful. You know, it's been about a year since I've done anything I'm happy with . . . and now I'm doing things I am happy with, and it's really nice. It's so encouraging to read comments that help me put the artists blocks in perspective because they understand. Thank you so much for your encouragement.
