thanx so much for tagging me Sylvia - I am pleased that others enjoy a ’dark’ tale - I often wonder do my rambling writings influence my dark artworks, or is it the other way around? or perhaps a bit of both? - maXine

Now that is a question that required some thought - I don’t have nightmares, but I do have vivid dreams - and often dark things visit the dreams, and just won’t get out of my head until I draw them. I think it is also how I look at the world - my latest drawings is inspired by a maggoty wormy thing that lives in my compost bin; my series of ’weed’ fae was a result of doing some gardening and pulling up the weeds. The writing revolves around my RPG character Charlotte, I’ve played her for 10 years, but I wanted to give her an alternative world to live in, where I make up the story and the rules, not the Games Master - so the drawings of Lexy, Antoinette, the Daemon Apprentice etc, are all a result of my writing - so yeah, both influence each other - maXine
