Great stuff man! Btw, I don't want to burst your bubble, but DigiPen is extremely heavy into maths, then physics, then programming. If you intend to get seriously into computers like you said, considering you've obviously already got the art part down, you'll go far 2

:-) Brian Larson replies: "Yeah, I've been looking at DigiPen a bit, and thankfully, I've been able to find out stuff about DigiPen that I really appreciated. I really want to go there, but a big problem is how there isn't any housing for the students there (I live in Chicago, so it's be a bit of a commute! ^_^ ). I'm looking more at liberal arts colleges now, just so that way I have a chance to study all the programs I like. Maybe after college, I'll head out and study at an art school. Never know."

Hey Brian
I think its awsome what you've done so far
I just have a couple sujestions k.
first, try adding more expreshion to thier faces, try making thier noses with a bit more detale, what I mean is try to make it look 3D instead of 2D.
seckond, make there clothes with rincoles and creases but be carfull that you dont overdo it K.
and last try to make the outeline of thier faces a bit more shapey, what I mean is try to make there chin, jaw line, forhead and cheek look a bit more seperat, you can do this but gently curving your lines at the aproperate places.
there you go I hope this has helped a bit although I dought it. (smile) I did enjoy looking at your drawing's you are a pretty good artist and i hope you go far.
P.S. hey I hope this isnt to long but hey what can you do (smileing big)

Hey Brian,

Great work, its always a pleasure to see other inspiring artists putting there art work on display and receiving critiques. I'm an artist myself, I've been in art school for about two years so far, studying to be a 2-D animator and into 3-D modeling. Some suggestions though, really branch out there and take you anime style in a different direction. I see so much anime done these days that I really don't see a specific style, they're all very similar. And in order to really WOW people, especially in the art work, which is not a kind and easy place to live, you need to take your style and improve and give your characters more of an appealing look and take them farther away from the traditional anime.
