SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elven Swordsman

Inspired by J.R.R.Tolkien's novel 'The Lord of The Rings' .This is how i've imagined an elven warrior of Gil Galad's army would look like. He is one of the many elves who gave their lives to stop Sauron on the fields of Dagorlad. Done in mechanical pencil. The writing on the right should say 'dagorlad', and the one underneath him 'Aelfin' (the warrior's name).

Im a bit of a lord of the rings freak and the only think i can find that isent like the movies is elven sheilds are leaf shape but i love the desin on your sheild it fits right in! Good job keep it up! Adrian Popescu replies: "Hey, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like my drawing. It was quite hard to draw this elven warrior without being too influenced by the film (I've seen the movies before I read the books). Anyway, after long hours of pondering I came up with an armour that's quite different from the one in the film."
