SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon tamer

In my invented world of Andria, the high elves uses these kind of feathered dragons for transportation and exploring. I call the dragons 'Avians' becase of their bird-like appearance. They are gentle and goodhearted ceratures, but vain and proud, not letting 'unworthy' riders upon their backs. This specific Avian is named Althar, and the female elf is his chosen allied. (the japanese writing on the picture says 'Akaihane' meaning Redfeather, my online nickname)

9 Dec 2005	A warrior!	Loading... Neat! He's really pretty! I like the realistic way in which you draw feathers. And, by the way, what color is he? Emma JC Nilsson replies: "You know what, I was thinking abou that just the other day, and I realized I'm not sure! o.o, He needs a light color though, I think I'm going to settle for light-bluish metallic body and silvery-white wings.
