| 11 May 2006 | Dogdog | I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!it looks like a dragon, though.but, your work is your work.know what i mean?this is one of my favorites in the WHOLE site!!!!!!!!!! Emma JC Nilsson replies: "Haha, thank you! A dragon..? I was thinking more hyena, but it's still fantasy, so I guess it's good it doesn't look like a normal dog. (The name is a joke from the Simpsons, anyway... ^^,)" | |
| 26 May 2006 | Rickard KJ Fornstedt | He looks lonely, or hurt. Like someone has teased him because he has a large head. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to have a large head (actually it's quite the opposite). Maybe a small headed animal (like a pidgin or an ant) has teased him... Nice image by the way. His feet are very nice. (Wow, I just noticed that he's got a very good balance; He has only one foot in the ground.) Nice shading too. Emma JC Nilsson replies: "*lol* Yeah, I also get the impression that he's some kind of outcast. I'm sure he's actually really sweet and loving if you get to know him. ^^ And yeah, he has an outstanding balance. I guess he'll have to be going at a fairly swift pace to only keep one paw in the ground at the time." | |
| 5 Jun 2006 | Alisha 'Dragon Grrl' Giroux | Aw, he looks sweet ^^ Not evil at all Emma JC Nilsson replies: "Thank you! ^_^ He feels loved now!" | |
| 16 May 2007 | Nora ´Noder´ Macsuga | It looks like a rat... it just can be me, but rats have good balance... Anyway I LovE it<3 Emma JC Nilsson replies: "Uh-huh, 'rat' is definately a better guess then 'dragon' at where I was trying to get at with this creature. I wanted a scruffy-looking thing that is still very adapted to it's suroundings, quick, sharp-witted, and - good balance. I like rodent-like predators, I got the idea from a very amusing book in the far past of my childhood. =)" | |
| 4 Aug 2007 | Marissa Krosigk | Very interesting...Me likey Emma JC Nilsson replies: "Just before I did this, I had been working on a metal engraving. I kind of wanted to give the texture of the fur the same feel." | |
