SciFi and Fantasy Art: Skybax

A wyvern, or 'skybax' dragon. This drawing is a development from a tiny and quick sketch I made while watching 'Reign of fire'. It is not fanart, and it is not a direct copy from the dragons in the movie, just inspired. The design of the details is my own.

Wow this is really awesome i like how you drew the wings i was wonderin if you could give me some tips on how to shade like that cause i have some pictures of dragons too but they don't look realistic like yours.

:-) Emma JC Nilsson replies: "Hello Nikita and thank you for your kind comment. =^_^= For pictures like this, I use an ordinary pencil and softly cover the area I want to shade... and then use my fingers to smudge it so it looks natural. If you want it darker, just shade it softly all over again. It's a messy but efficient method. =) Good luck, hope it helps!"
