SciFi and Fantasy Art: Triumph over Darkness

Ok this picture was inspired by Amy lee from Evanescence. In the picture she is holding the sword of truth, preparing to slay some evil demons. This was a major coloring experiment. I did a lot of blending. Unfortunately this picture took me months to complete. I was just soooo lazy that I only colored half of it and left it for months! Anyway, the darkness of the picture was made by just simply darkening the setting on the scanner. Hope you like!!!

I'm still really learning home to do color schemes and blending and stuff. But I do hope to have more colored art in the near future. Thanks again!"
22 Feb 2007	Light's Shadow	Loading... Ooooh! I like this one! Determination in the face of danger. Actually this reminds me of the song "Cloud Nine" on The Open Door. It looks almost as if she stands there saying "If I fall and all is lost, no light to lead the way, remember that all alone is where I belong..." Good work, nice expression, great concept! Ashley N. Beerbroer replies: "WOW! Thanks a lot! Actually I have a concept already for Cloud Nine...but I never thought this picture connects witht that. Wow. "
