| 22 Dec 2005 | Sverige töz | wow, i loved how you drawed her. What is she looking for? | |
| 8 Feb 2006 | Ezra Fulford | I like the way her ears stick out to the side rather than straight up and all. And her expression ise very nice. But I dunno about her setting, riding a big ole' plow horse amd all. I would put her in a mossy sunlit forest of something like that. | |
| 14 Apr 2006 | Kire | The horse is as beautiful as the elf! It's gorgeous!!!! | |

| 9 Mar 2008 | Emily Rose Radulescu | Lovely picture, but I do have to add some educational comments (and I did go through the rest of the comments to make sure I’m not repeating myself ) on the saddle. As you have her sitting, when the horse moves, she’s gonna fall off. Sidesaddles are set up basically just like any other saddle...seat facing forward all that. The only difference is that there is a horn in front to wrap your right leg around when you move both legs to the left side. The right leg winds up resting on the horses left shoulder area or a little bit farther back, depending on how much you bend your leg. This is what gives that look in victorian pictures where it looks like the woman and her skirt are bigger than the horse. *chuckles* Anyway, when riding, your upper body and butt basically are in the same position as when riding astride, otherwise you’d fall off. No twisting of the torso (it is an optical illusion or a photographers pose on a horse that is not moving). Now, as uncomfortable as this all seems, it really is not. I got a chance to ride sidesaddle a few years ago, and I’m a convert. If I ever manage to have the room and money for a horse, I’ll make sure to get a side-saddle. Anyway, hope this helps, and sorry for the long-windedness. | |
