SciFi and Fantasy Art: Forgotten Realms gang

This is a group portrait I did for Elizabeth Fitzgerald and her friends from Australia. THese are their D&D characters, from left to right: Calissa (cleric, half moon-elf), her lover Lyzander (brooding type), Athus (fierce human warrior), Chloe (sexy smart & sassy gold elf), and Kayl (moon elf) holding his enchanted sword 'Frostbite.' They are all really cool characters, and it was funny I actually like the barbarian best--normally I like the elves! Calissa's outfit took me forever to come up with--I'm kinda goin' with a 'wing' or feather motif--the whole holy cleric thing. Did it all in colored pencil --again-- and put the individual characters together in Photoshop, and added the glow to the sword. Hope everyone likes! Man it took forever-- 20+ hours!! 8 Feb 2006	Ezra Fulford	Loading... nice work. i like the variety you actually put in the faces, espcially the elves. No-one seems to realize that one individual elf should look a touch different from all the other elves. Except for you. Huzzah.
1 Oct 2006	Anonymous	Loading... I like the personality that you give the characters, and the art is excellent. I especially like the warrior in the center, you drew his Katana quite well. (most people have trouble accomplishing that curve for some reason and they end up looking like sabres.)
14 Oct 2006	Sdixon	Loading... Wow! That's really good! The first thing I notice is the color and how the characters are presented, and then it's that personality that shows in the face of each one. I think my favorite is probably the guy with the sword. Well... actually, I likes them all : )
