SciFi and Fantasy Art: Priest of Tempus

The lord of Battle and Lightning, Tempus, god over these in the Forgotten Realms is followed by many. His Priest however are found most often on the battlefield then anywhere else. Loyalties to neutrality rather then good or evil, he watches from above, pleased with the ring of steel on steel. This sketch here is of a Half Elf priest of Tempus, I have yet to decide what sort of weaponry to place in his ever so capable hands, suggestions are welcome*s*

Tempus isn't Lightning thats Talos, I suggest an axe, because those will lop off some body parts easly.

Dual Katana! (note: the plural for Katana is not katanas, just to clarify if someone thought 'dual katana' sounded strange)

What is better than a Katana? Nothing! what better to slice your way through your foe? None! Katana are the way to go!

Why not use a spear? The position surely suggests it's a polearm... Or a broadhead claymore? It particularly looks wicked, as it is a two-handed very, very long claymore that ends not pointed, but axe-headed.. and the handle is indeed long as in a spear. A scimitar, then again..A scythe could also look good, but that is too grim..Or maybe a dual-wield, not everyone's into dai-katana ,could be a parry dagger and a longsword? Oh,the possibilities.. Congratulations, very empowering pose, a shield in his left and a longsword could also do the trick.
