| 17 Mar 2008 | Gabe Ruhe | such a shame....I wish I got a bad dream once in a while. That is amazing! Such intricate detail and magnificent coloring! I wish I could got the same inspiration you had. Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "Thanks. I’m glad something worthwhile came outta that nightmare.
Sadly, many of my more disturbing drawings are dream images. I often wonder what Freud or Jung would say...."
| 18 Mar 2008 | Lucia Méndez | I like very much the details and the bright coloration! | |
| 19 Mar 2008 | Tim J Stoffel | Interesting. I hope I never wake to one of these in my dreams! The detailing, especially in the scales is really well done. | |
| 28 Mar 2008 | Katie "FireBird" Wakelin | oh wow, this pic looks as though it has come straight out of the pages of a fairy tale, i do hope that you are published as an illustrator! thanx for tagging my work by the way! ^-^ Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "I’e not been published yet, but who knows....
P.S. You have great work, I love your mer-mom as well as the purple fairy."
| 7 May 2008 | Hannah Rogers Robertson | i thought i had weird dreams really well done and scary!! | |
| 11 May 2008 | Mandy Tegan Kishena | It looks like a Hyena mixed with a snake and scorpion. I wouldn’t want to have a dream like that! | |
| 9 Jun 2008 | Paula Friederike Dieck | ugh...poor you, to dream of such a thing! Great picture, though! I like how the fur changes slowly into scales. However, I’d have done the snake part a bit more flat to be able to support the weight without rolling over. Know what I mean? <- Just a bit of constructive criticism there, I really think this pic is great. Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "Thank you! I went and actually looked at a snake after reading your comment, and you’re right. While I can’t change this one (scratch-board’s pretty unforgiving that way) I’ll use your advice on a naga-king painting I’m working on now. Thanks again!" | |
