The stark white contrasts with the dark of his skin, but it would be nice if it had just a bit more detail - ripples in the clothes, maybe. A nice and dominating picture.   Elizabeth Z. Johnk replies: "Thank you-- his imposing presence and physical figure were really what I was going for. In my dream, he was actually quite nice, but it was covered up with a rather gruff exterior... Thank you for your advice!-- I have four more versions of this picture, (the "final" one shows him with his hat, beard, and is coloured), but I picked this one because I liked it best for its aesthetic value. I should add more detail, though, you're right." | |
