My name is Filip, I'm born in 1985, and am a combination of artist and hobby-linguist. I spend my spare time inventing (a) language(s), spoken by imaginary people and myself.
I don't really draw often, at least not compared to some of my friends, and when I do, much of it is other-than-fantasy art. Every now and then, though, a fantasy picture pops into existence by my hand.
I also want to give my thanks to Jesus Christ who makes all forms of artistic practise possible; the creator of light and color, height and depth, sound and system.
And please, feel free to express exactly what you think about my art (as long as it follows Elfwood rules), I really like consructive critisism and suggestions.
The fact that we as human being keep a desire to create is, as I see it, a strong argument for God’s existence. As images of him, however incomplete, we do the same thing as He. But I can’t create in the same way as He can, I may merely copy. The desire is born when we encounter thing in the world that amaze us. Hence, I often find myself wanting to depict beautiful things, or order nice sounds and assigning meaning to them. But the reference is always something else. That doesn’t kill the fun.

You must have been doing this for quite some time. I saw so many good ones I liked I didn't know which one I liked best. You have some great stuff here but I think some of them didn't scan so well. Hmmm I didnt read the part about your love of Jesus, I really should stop going under this name. I hope this isnt too offensive. As blasphamous as calling myself Jesus is, Im really not the religion-mocking type of girl, it was just a nickname. I still like your art alot! Filip Rosenqvist replies: "Well, even though Jesśs is a name in spanish and Joshua in english it is kind of offensive to go under that name. Especially if that isn't really your name. The level of blasphemy can be discussed, but certainly, if you're a girl, you know, everyone will think you're a guy."
