SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tanis- another one

This is a drawing of Tanis currently in the works. I'm very dissapointed to see how much detail has been lost in the scanning and resizing process. I'm also having a hard time figuring out his mode of dress. Any ideas would be welcome. I'm basically using Larry Elmore's vision as a guide, but not to the letter.

I think my favorite(don't hurt me) is Tasslehoff o.o yeah yeah I'm weird lol but nevertheless, this is cool! more detail on his(almost typed 'her' blink is tired or something..) clothes would be nice ^_~ the sword is cool, and his hair is just great! ^_^

13 Jul 2007	Lianna	Loading... Again, this is not how Tanis looked in my head when I read the books, but the face and hair are still really good. Good job. And Larry Elmore is super awesome; he's one of my favorites.
