Ah! Someone after my own heart. You are beginning to do your animals' hair like it should be done. Keep practicing this technique and try shaping each line to move with every curve of the wolf's body. This will make it more 3D and give it a more realistic look. LOVE IT!

Wonderful concept. Not bad form on the wolf and the wings. Your potential is quite obvoius to me, and the more you draw, the more your art will improve... I was self taught... Still self teaching as a matter of fact. I don't ever expect to be done learning the different ways to improve my art.
One recomendation I can give it to collect pictures from magazines. I call them Art Reference Pictures, and I use them for reference when I am trying to do something that I do not have a good grasp on. Hands... Feet... the turn of a head.
If you can save up the money, or your parents are willing to do it for you, books on anatomy will be your best friend.

Oooo, I love wolves and this pic is great! It's so serene, and the wings are very well done ^^. Reminds me slightly of "all dogs go to heaven." All wolves do to then I guess! XD.
