SciFi and Fantasy Art: Conversion

This is a picture of an angel that is being converted. She started off as any other angel does - a plain white dress, white wings, and a golden halo. Through a presession of sins, she thus forced this fate on herself - eternal unrest, residing in neither heaven nor hell.

She's pretty cool though, I like her alot. The background took me the longest, but it still didn't take that long. The whole picture - Photoshoping - took maybe an hour.

Each person is given the key to heaven. The same key opens the gates of hell. =^.^=

22 Apr 2008	Auntie SMIM	Loading... Em, This one is great. You really captured the feeling of movement in her dress. You can almost feel the air move if you focus on her skirt. The sharp lines of her wings help to make the softness of her clothes more pronounced. Good job! Auntie SMIM Emily Poirier replies: "Thankee! I don’t like the shading. I think that it stinks."

13 May 2008	M. Nelson	Loading... The shading is great, especially on the folds of the dress. Some of your drawings are kinda stiff but this one flows nicely. And good detail on the wings.
