SciFi and Fantasy Art: Summoning the Beast

My brother told me I nedded to put some tigers up here, and the picture was his idea, I just extended it a bit.  It was originally supposed to be part of a spell but the tiger wound up being more of an elemental, a firecat.  So, here it is.  The fire mage is summoning his familiar, in the defence of dark magic, or something like that.
