SciFi and Fantasy Art: Noshi's Goodbye

Arcariel kind of wanted me to draw Noshi a wart or something. I could resist, though. In fact, Arcariel did not want me to draw Noshi at all. He hates him for his treacheries.

Noshi could not die completely, so Arcariel kept his body buried deep in the heart of the mountains close to Hariat. Since the air-loving and often claustrophobic angels are usually burnt so the wind can take away their ashes, this symbolizes a punishment even after death.
Arcariel sought with eager after a way to destroy Noshi, and he tried so hard it was often cause for nightmares. One night, he could not sleep and was so restless, he went to Noshi's grave and thrusted a dagger deep into his heart. After this, he slept perfectly well.

A long time after Noshi's death, he found out how to kill him completely. Therefore he had to summon him, and though he was prepared well, he made mistakes. So Noshi died (again or finally, that depends on your point of view), but Arcariel was sent to exile. But that's another story.
The picture shows Noshi's last moments, when he faded away, saying goodbye in his soft, yet mad trickster voice.

I based the picture very loosely on an old drawing (you can find it here). 800x800 pixel (I worked WAY to small, even though I did not go for a realistic style and wanted it to be a bit sketchy), Photoshop/Painter & Wacom tablet.

That's a harsh punishment, killing someone over and over! -So what were his crimes anyway? It's kind of funny that I care, because if he was a hideous horned beast who committed a treachery, I wouldn't think twice about his horrible end, but since he's an angel, I'm slightly disturbed. Nice work on creating a provocative drawing!
