SciFi and Fantasy Art: Technomage

This is Prof. Marek Valeska.
He is a Technomage and lectures at the University of Science and Magic. His story takes place in a future version of earth, where magic and science are strongly connected, though magical creatures and humans eye each other suspiciously.
Marek on the other hand stands up for more communication and often criticises the forming of ghettos in which magical and immortal beings live. Did you ever listen to The Legendary Pink Dots? There's a song which says "the more it changes, the more it stays the same" which is quite true, though the context was different in the song.
He is one of the few people who practise what is called "biogeneous magic" (or "natural magic") and technical magic (including a lot of fancy machines and other gadgets) at the same time. At the moment he does researches in the wide field of neuronal mana transmitters and participates in the so-called "Black Brain Project".
Marek is well educated, but also incredibly stubborn, annoyingly honest and persistent. That made him successful and a person of integrity, yet few people get along with him.
Arcariel is quite a match for him. Nao once said "I've never seen two people quarreling that harmonically".

During class (yeah, what else?), about 8 hours. Pencils used: 2B, 4B, 6B. The pose is loosely based on a reference photo (full permission, of course).
