| 27 May 2008 | Dragomir Cristian Madalin | it’s a very beautiful drawing which has the touch of the feeling of love and the mistery of the mermen folk in it . The idea with human like mermens is good, but i still think the traditional fishtail or flipper represent them better . They look more like aqua mutants here, something like Aquaman . But the bodies are done good and their postures is nice, it really feels like they are swimming .And i hope you won’t accidentlly erase this comment to Per Johansson replies: "Thank You, Dragomir! I´ll try not to press the wrong button again! I´m glad You like the picture despite the "non-traditional" merfolks. This type of beeings give me the opportunity to draw human forms without the restrictions of gravity, and I like to see if I can manage to draw complicated poses without models. I could, of course, try to draw some people in a weightless spacestation... Hey, that was an idee!" | |
