SciFi and Fantasy Art: Peaceful Sanctuary

This is a watercolour practice I did in art class. We were working on landscapes at the time, and I had been so bored with the lack of fantasy, so I finally asked the teacher if I could put some glowing faeries into my picture. She said yes, and so I used a wax resist to create a few throughout the scene, winding up with an unspoiled grove of pixie paradise.
