SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Robot Girl

Look! A robot and her owl! It's a weird picture for me, but I like it. It's meant to symbolize not only the inevitable fusion of man with machine but also how frightening that concept is. There's a collection of writers on Fictionpress.com (not a specific group, just a bunch of random people) who write if not good then at least interesting transhumanism stories and I think this partly came from that.

This picture is so cool, I don’t really know what to say...
its creepy and angsty and black and white in all the right ways.
The disproportionate anatomy only adds to the strange mechanical feel
and the Eye is totally trippin me out.
