SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Storyteller

This is an older rough sketch that I did on a placemat at a resaurant which I am planning to someday redo as a painting- whether digital or traditional medium I am unsure. Perhaps both. Anyway this is an old style for me, but the concept is something I really like. She's sort of a fallen angel who lives as a recluse on a beach and is know for her one remaining wing, her "magical powers" (as the kids put it) and her fascinating stories. Her bauble is her window to the world, and by watching other cultures on this primitive planet (which is not Earth, making this a rather CJ Cherryh-esque work) she can tell of their customs and battles to the amusement of the locals.
