SciFi and Fantasy Art: Little Flower Faery

This little faery likes to come out at night to watch the fireflies dance through the dark forest. That puff flower she is peeking from is her summer home. In the winter she lives with the rest of her family in a large hollowed out stump. Sometimes animals stay with them when it gets too cold. I used acrylic paints for this picture and am pretty happy on the result. Originally it started out as just a picture of the flower. But when I finished it I thought there was something missing so I added the little faery girl. I am quite fond of this picture.
