SciFi and Fantasy Art: Celin

Pronounced 'Kel-een', she is a dancer in a tavern in Camelot. She knows how to perform intricate routines with the grace of a swan. A foundling, she was raised by the tavern's owner. Though she is good at what she does, she often complains to me about the patrons actions towards her. One day she remarked, 'They act as though I am there for them to fondle and degrade. Really I am there to dance my heart out.' I used pencil on this one and tried a 'cartoony' style of drawing. I tend to lean towards realism, but was wanting to try something different.

Beautiful.

The sense of move ment and the simple folds in the fabrics are lovely. A picture that is very pleasing to the eye...I love that pose too!

^_^
