SciFi and Fantasy Art: Inner Spirit of the Tree

This is the black and white version, I am currently painting the oil version at the moment. When its done you will see it. The title says it all. Every tree has a spirit (its alive). I dont know how else to put it other than this is a spirit that shows withen the tree. I wanted to look like a carving, as if someone has carved it. hope you enjoy. In my opinion the oil is much better.
