SciFi and Fantasy Art: Chasing shadows

Based on a scene from my novel, of my corvidian character, Seraphin, searching through the ruins of Symahkos Abbey on the corvidian homeworld, for the Shadow Lord, Zaric, on a personal mission of vengence for the systematic murder of his family and the attempted murder on himself when he was a fledgling . In a strange twist of fate, he finds himself following a trail of blood; like how Zaric followed his in an attempt to find him to finish him off after he escaped; and hid himself amongst the same ruins all those years ago.  it isn't long before the trail leads him to his adversary.
