SciFi and Fantasy Art: BloodlustA picture of Zaric doing what he does best. And being the vicious and sadistic individual that he is, who would kill you as look at you, you can garrantee that when this evil avian makes a killing it's going to be brutal and bloody. Cruelty and killing are his trademarks, of which, he often goes out of his way just to prove it and will use any excuse for a show of violence-most often as a way to vent his anger and on anyone who has the misfortune of being in the vicinity at the time, and if there's no one around, he'll go and find someone. One thing for sure, If Zaric were real, even I would'nt like to meet him. However, Sadisim among Corvidians is'nt the only reason why they act like murderous, genocidal maniacs, all Corvidians are vampires and need to regulary feed on blood because of a biological requirement-due to a genetic mutation, which was thought to have been triggered down to their aggressive lifestyles; their bodies are no longer able to synthesize the enzymes responsible for the production of haemoglobin as they got enough from their food; like all things in nature, if something's not used it's disgarded. Of course one of the side effects associated with this and the the reason why Corvidian's never chose to prevent it was because as well as the craving for blood-the bloodfire as Corvidian's call it, it also made them stronger, under it's influence a hormone is realeased which increases the speed and force of the heartbeat, dilates the airways to facilitate an incredible rate of breathing and oxygenation and widens the blood vessels supplying blood to the skeletal muscles. In short, Corvidians had discovered a way to become superkillers. | |
