SciFi and Fantasy Art: Orbital Fortress model

A photo of a model i made of an orbital fortress which is from the first chapter of the second part of the novel i'm working on.  The 'body' and the forward weapon array of the model is made from cereal box card and a sweet tube. The transparent sails-which  are for sensory purpses and for power collection- are made from sheets of acetate.

Cereal box? Hey whatever works, and here it works good. I’d have to say this is your best as far as construction and looks. (Tags it)

:-) Kimberly A. Taylor replies: "thanks. yea, cereal box card; my primary modelling matrerial-it cuts easily and is nice and flexible. compared to my last model, this one was refreshingly easy."
