SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sunset

A photo which I took of an A2 size painting that i did using Acrylic paints, of a scene on the planet Thierieull.

As the light fades and the twin suns relenquish their power to the chill of the night, only then are it's true horrors released. It is often said that on Thierieull, if the heat doesn't get you, the Vykars will.

"Thierieull; Hellgate. A planet of fire and brimstone by any name. By day twin suns broiled its surface, scorching and squeezing dry unfortunate life-forms that found no shelter . Darkness offered respite from the relentless heat to those unfortunate souls left to die on its surface, but  here on Hellgate respite is often brief, as Vykars,Thierieull's top and most feared native predator were at their most active at night. As soon as  the light  began to fade, swiftly they'd emerge to start scouring the sun-scorched surface, relentlessly hunting for the day's dead and weary. If more than one of the predators came upon the same prey, they fought with each other; only the deadliest survived. Battles fought and feeding done, they would dissapear into the night to once again seek shelter from the planet's cruel dawn."   An extract from the novel I'm working on.

First Comment Texas Two-Step. First, I'd like to commend you on the accuracy of what a twin-sun envronment might be like. But having said that, it even looks hot.
