SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Sword of Sorena

For a mage blacksmith on Vina there is no greater mastery in ones art then the creation of a Bladesprite. Sorena was Shoken's greatest masterpiece, a sword unlike any other. All of Shoken's power is held within the innocent soul which this blade houses.

Shoken was one of Vina's most powerful and skilled Mage Blacksmith during the dark ages. Along with being Mage Blacksmith he was also a powerful sorcerer. She is one of several major artifacts he has created which have been scattered through out the lands of Vina upon his death, and the second to last artifact he created.

When in its sheath the jaws are closed locking it in. When her master wants to draw her the jaws open just enough to allow the sword to come free, opening fully as the sword is drawn clear.
