SciFi and Fantasy Art: Feel the Hunger...

As I fortold, the vampires of my mind have come forth... at least one of them, anyway. This is my idea of what a vampire would appear as when preparing to feed. I couldn't find any true descriptions, since people who live through the event of being a meal are driven mad more often than not, thus I claim it to be a creation of my imagination. Colored using Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home Edition.

I like how the mouth is. It is a nice picture, but I think that the ear may be a little bit too small. All-in-all it is a nice pic.Joel: Yes, well thank you both for noticing the funky ear. I will be sure to work on that!

Yes, a very nice picture other than the fact that his ear seems to be too small. Like the eyes.

oooh, i think its so great! I've been trying to do this sort of thing lately, but it has not been remotely this awesome! Killer pic!Joel: Thanks, milady, it's all in the head. I find that a component of fear in drawing humans is the exaggeration of certain proportions and the bulging of strained muscles (as in the mouth here).

Ok...this guy is REALLY creepy. THe ear does kinda get on my nerves...but then again he is a supernatural creature and with those teeth he can have any ear he feels like...^_^ through all your artwork I am astounded by your use of color...this one is no different. The eyes are a nice touch.

I think the ear is fine, I mean, it sort of looks like he's only recently become a sort of vampire creature, and his body is only NOW adjusting, his ear would fit fine were his mouth normal sized to fit the top half of his face and head.

Moero Moero! Very nice! the yellow eyes and straining jaw are very effective!! I like the ashen color to his face, and the way his temples and cheeks are seemingly lit by his glowing, preternatural eyes! *Anne Rice fan?*
a splendid rendering of the "ugliness" of the immortal!

Daddy? Is that you? I've been good, honest.

I love when artist draw twisted vampires rather than the romantic types we see alot of, I think this is much more realistic, although I am guilty of drawing far too many beautiful aluring vamps. I hope you don't mind that i put him on my vampire guided tour.
