SciFi and Fantasy Art: L'Etoile

Finally! I've got a scanner, and can do these at home now. Much better scan, huhn? I discovered a book on one of my idols, Alphonse Mucha, which had photographs of some of his models, so I actually got to follow Mucha's own muse for a little while. I think it shows...

This picture is wonderful! It makes me think of The Star from tarot. The only thing is, her right arm confuses the hell out of me; where does it end, where's her hand, what's that line for anyway? Hope this makes sense. . .

As a Mucha fan, I have to tell you that you did a wonderful job, and it is definetlly inspired by his work.

I really like the way you did this. She's beautiful. But, even at the risk of being the only dunce here, what is the thing that is either attacking her breast or stuck to it?

Mucha is one of my idols too. His style and work is incredible. So is this. I can see it's influenced from mucha and y'can see it is art-nouveau. I always tried to have m'own mucha drawing, but it never worked out. This, this is perfect. The star and flower and circel around her head is so detailed and well drawn. Her hair is to die for ^_^ I adore this

I think the pic is really good, but I don't like the bar just under he next should be behind her and not in for of her. also on the left shoulder just on top of it, you could have filled in with the brick design. other wise the pic is really great and I love it. keep up the artwork. 2

She is incredible. Her face is so strong yet serene and as mentioned by others, I like the fact that she isn't a wraif. The arm in front and the hand are a bit too big though. The face, neck, and shoulders portray someone with a smaller bone structure than the arm implies. The rest of her body is great. I don't know who Mucha is, so perhaps larger arms are a thing of his. If so, I apologize. Either way, she is very beautiful.

This is amazing! I love Mucha's work, and so, naturally, I love your wonderful picture too!
and, in case you are worried, I know what the thing covering up part of her arm and bust is-- it is the end of her braid!
You are very very good
