SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lost Knight

This is the illustration for a German poem I have written some years ago.
It tells the story of a knight wandering across the land with only his horse by his side. And while the sun is sinking, the castle is still in flames. The defenders had lost the battle and the knight is the only survivor - all his followers are dead.

21 Feb 2004	Jillian M. Soh	Loading... wow. I love the pencil work in this piece. The moon is really pretty as is the castle. The lighting is perfect (how'd you do that with a pencil?!) and the whole work is very neat. Manuela P. Forst replies: "Well, hard and long working and a big portion of patience! Now my pencil is half that long as it was before."

Forst replies: "I'm sorry, there is no way to publish the poem in Elfwood but I'm already working on my own homepage and the poem will be there, called "Ballade über Krieg und Sieg". I hope I will be able to do this in the near future."

It was hard work to make it that smooth. The details where no problems because they where not that boring to draw - O.K., drawing is never boring !Thank you for the comment!"
