SciFi and Fantasy Art: Guardian of the Holy Grail

There are stories telling about a knight guarding the Holy Grail. So I thought about what could have happened to such a knight. The Grail disappeared round 2000 years ago, than came the medieval times and with this the dragons. A dragon would be interested to gain the Grail for his treasure and would kill the knight.

This pic shows a thief trying to get someting from the dragons treasure. He thought about easy money as he expected the dragon to be sleeping. But the dragon awake ...
