SciFi and Fantasy Art: Identity

Another segement of the challenging-at-the-time chocolate orange that was GCSE Art. If the GCSE is a chcocolate orange, A level is more like trying to get honey from a nest of killer bees...

Must....write...more....psuedo-intellectual quasi-analysis... in... sketchbook!

My final piece for GCSE, which was painted and glued together over two very silent days. I took the 'more is more' approach in putting it together, so there are mirrors, beads, ceramics and glass paints, tonal overlays and wire. As with the other big painting up, it looks better in real life, honest! ^^;

1 Aug 2005	Christabel Nolan	Loading... hooray! first comment rumba!! this is pretty cool, I especially like the eyes and the comuter chip lines across her face. it caught my attention, that's for sure. 10 hours of exam conditions??? what the??? Emily Coghill replies: "Joins in first comment dance Yay!Thank you for your comment - this piece took a lot of designing. The exam wasn't so bad, really... nearly killed the people who like talking while they work. ^_^"
27 Sep 2005	Katy S! Hey Emily!!!	Loading... Hehe..I can vouch for almost being killed...hehe. It's a shame the computer doesn't show things how they are in life; it really doesn't do this any justice; Emily's picture was on hardboard (or something!), and used so many different types of paints and pretty shiny things (oooh...the shinyness! reaches out, giggling manically) and mirrors...it was great; it IS great! One of my favourite pieces, Em! ~K.x
2 Feb 2007	you know who I am.....tee hee hee	Loading... Bonjourno...just browsing the internet at the end of sixth form with mel and we have found this delightful exam piece....tis great...I wonder who else was in your art class?? LOL...anyway, au revoir!
