To be a guardian angel can be rough job sometimes. She tried, she fought, she gave all she had, but this time she could not save the child she was protecting.

27 Oct 2000	Jari K. Pitkä	Loading... Hmm...does this have been influenced by Hugo Simbergs Haavoittunut Enkeli, maybe? Anyway, I like the despaired look on her face. Angelic, yet depressed. Great one. - Me: Actually I thought of Simbergs painting only after the drawing was ready and I was thinking a name for it. But maybe it has had some influence subconsciously. (Simbergs painting can be viewed at the www-page of Ateneum Art Museum.)
1 May 2001	Uskmatu Toomas	Loading... Strange ... I don't see despair on the Angel's face. Rather, it's a moment of reflection and concentration before a new start. She (is it right to call an angel a 'she'?) is not beaten and she has not surrendered. I can't help feeling that she has only learned an important lesson, and learned it well. She's got a great future waiting for her.

5 Sep 2001	Anna Helena	Loading... It's beautiful and looks like something that could illustrate a fairytale. The right leg looks a little bit too long though. Nice colors; it suits the picture

Lindgren replies: "I am not quite satisfied with the wings myself. The problem is that the feathers are too small. But I didn't want to re-draw the whole wings so I left them as they are."
17 Jun 2004	Effrafax, the black fairy	Loading... Have U seen Linkin Parks "Breakin The Habit" video. She looks like the small girl there. Pauli K. Lindgren replies: "Unfortunately I haven't seen the video. I haven't seen many music videos lately, since MTV seems to show anything but music these days."
