I hope your grandma loved this pic because I sure do. No offense to the green dragon, but isn’t he a bit...round...for a traditional eastern dragon? Not that I am against anybody being round, lol. The western dragon looks like a young pup though and the situation’s like when a puppy tries to act all tough to it’s mama...you know what I’m talking about. Wootness! Wow, how do you get such solid dark colors from your colored pencils? 8D Really nice, I love the shine on the western dragon. :]  Sarah ´Ash´ Koch replies: "ash- thankies...i get such solid colors because i use Prismacolor colored pencils and i bare down after i finish layering all my values...like i’ll shade the white areas then shade the main color over it and then go back over with the white real hard so the white shows through but slightly tinted by the main color....then i do the shadows and finish with a solid layer of the main color...i’ve been coloring like that for a while..." | |
