Her genasi-oid eyes are really creepy. o____o Sarah J Hartzell replies: "Thanks, but this is the least favorite of all my paintings. I just put almost everything I can up to hear people’s reactions to them."

Just watch your anatomy. I know how easy it is to make legs too short when drawing someone sitting or kneeling. I just always remind myself that if I (for instance) sit with my knees drawn up to my chest, my knees are actually even with my shoulders. If you use that same measurement on her (that the hip to shoulder and hip to knee distance is the same) you can see that her legs are a good deal too short for her body height. It’s also apparent that her feet are too small (they should be the same length as her forearm. Anatomy gives me fits when I draw. I usually get so focused on the idea or the details that I forget to go through the checks to make sure the body proportions are right. >.<
I like the unusual eyes (and I like that you used blue for color contrast) and how the black bow is so shiny--it makes it look like satin. XD Sarah J Hartzell replies: "Yeah, anatomy is hard, but I get better with each picture, so I keep on trying. Thanks for the help!"
