| 27 Oct 2005 | Evallynne Eeve Spirit | *cries* This is realy sad. And if unicorns did roam the earth, Im sure the first one ever recorded would probably be one found on a road. Sad. This civilization seems to be crossing some boundries that shouldn't be crossed. . . *cries* Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "And the most sad part of it is that everyone (including myself btw.) is accepting the "casualities" with nothing but a shrug and moves on driving cars and using all the other comforts of this civilization without one second thought. Even worse: We think our standard of living is the one and only worth existing and we look down on everyone who has not (yet) archieved this level of technology, coldness and decadence. " | |
| 31 Oct 2005 | LaBeteDeGevuadan | Lol!!! Sorry, sorry, I know... I have a morbid sense of humor- I don't need to be told again. Yes, it's very sad. But kinda funny. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Hmm, you're right you have a ... okay, I won't tell you again. Stange, to call this picture funny ... " | |

| 26 Apr 2006 | Dying Messenger | Sorry, but the title misled me!! When I scrolled down, I just laughed because of what I saw!! I wasn't expecting to see a dead unicorn laying on the side of the road. Greay picture by the way! I love the colors you chose. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you. In part, the colours were changed by the fixation spray I used on it. But well, I can't help it and it still looks good. (The title was meant as it reads. I just LOVE that animated movie!)" | |
| 28 May 2006 | Yana P. Vaseva | That's unique! Actually my first thought was "haha that stupid driver, it's now HIS fault unicorns are extinct" then I thought "those stupid highways..." then I thought "actually it's kinda memorable, reminds again of how humans lead to the extinction of other creatures... and even their own myths" The symbolism here is really moving... Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you very much, Yana! Hmm. I guess me too, I'd rather blame the highway and that whole way of living and thinking we have evolved than the individual driver in this case. " | |
