| 27 Sep 2003 | Heather <hawk_feather_1@yah...com | Me again. I have been surfing all of your updates, and i can't get enough. i'm going to have to gather a bunch of stacks of 25$ this time, so I can buy everything, lol. *inside joke* Niknik...I like that name. Rolls off the tongue. It reminds me of a historic moment that we american children are taught about in history class calle 'Custer's last stand', where Custer and his army men are ambushed by hundreds of indians and all but one man were killed. Those stupid soldiers deserved it too....*go native americans* This dragon looks different than the others in your story. I like this style too. I LOVE his head. This picture has a lot of emotion, and his looks like he was just now shot with the arrows, and crying his last terrible cry before falling motionless. Wicked. p.s. heehee, I reread this comment to make sure I didn't have any typos this time. I finally figured out the trick. lol. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Hi Heather! I'm glad you like my new uploads! And well, I told you before that those dragons I drew earlier aren't exactly how I imagine the dragons in my story... Not even Niknik here turned out REALLY the way he should look. I'm still trying to come as close as I can. Oh, and btw. he won't die because of those small ridiculous arrows. He will die from a poison thats in his body and that another enemy peaked into him with a spear. " | |
| 27 Oct 2003 | Cassiopia MothIversen | Noooooooooooooooooooooo don't let him die. *you see a beautiful elf lady glowing pop out of the air and touch the dragon the arrows disappear and the dragon falls asleep* and as shes leaving she says sleep well young dragon till we meet again Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Hehe. Poor Niknik. He really could need such an elven friend. All the humans he was travelling with abandoned him because of the enclosening enemies." | |
| 13 Dec 2003 | Blah | Oh No! How sad I hate when dragons die, they are my favorite type of reptile...even if they're not real Anyway Great picture just loose the dying part next time Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Pah! "Loose the dying part." That's the very part I'm coming back to soon! I have had enough of cute little songgryphons. Back to the dark side of art!!! ;-)" | |
| 25 Jan 2004 | Elf Ranger | It's me again... I didn't see this picture 'till I was lurking around for about the fourth time! Very good! You know how to make things dramatic! Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Wb Elf Ranger! Thank you for this! I hope I show the same ability for dramatic scenes while writing... ;-)" | |

| 17 Jun 2004 | Elf Ranger | This is from the book you're trying to get pubished, right? Sounds cool! When you get it published, tell me where to find it! I'll be sure to read it! Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Hehe, You bet I'll tell! I'll tell everyone whether they want to hear it or not! ;-)" | |
| 11 Jan 2006 | niknik | I like the drawing i ?especially? like his name. Where did you get the name from ? Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you, "Niknik"! ;-) It's the name of this dragon in my story. I made it up using a rough guideline for a language invented for my fantasy novel "Meyelor". The syllable "nik" means quick, swift, movement or change. The name niknik emphasises these characteristics. " | |
| 22 Apr 2006 | Dying Messenger | You can truly feel this creatures pain...and the suffering its being put through because of someones greed and evilness. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you very much! Actually the case is even worse: The young dragon is killed for revenge, not even revenge for something he did, but for something his father did ... Poor little Niknik." | |

| 21 Nov 2007 | James Edward Vance | ( snifels and bites lower lip).. This aint fair. The poor little dragon. Not fair at all. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Nope. Not fair at all. I really could smack all the characters who were travelling with this young dragon for abandoning him in that situation. Well, not that they had any different choice which included their own survival, but anyway! Thank you so much! " | |
