i started drawing this picture way back on my trip in mongolia and stored it in my drawer for a few years. every once in a while i would take it out again and work with coloured pencils on it. the very last layer of colour was done while listening to irish folk. the picture shows two elves, the girl playing the flute and the boy dancing to the music. i got inspired when listening to infected mushrooms 'celtic spirit', so that's why the picture wears that name. it just reminded me of my own experiences dancing to the sunrise at outdoor psy parties up in the mountains, or in castles.
this is actually my first 'real' try to work 'well' with coloured pencils. i still have a lot to learn, but i'm quite happy with the outcome. i also burnt the sides of the paper so it would look like an old pergament or booksheet or something.
