SciFi and Fantasy Art: Faerie queen

this faerie was very much inspired by the geneva show of "riverdance", starring joanne doyle, with her beautiful dress. i have been working on this fae for quite a while, always putting her away again and adding other little things to her. now finally i think i am quite done with her. i couldn't think of any other name but "faerie queen", since she seemed so majestic to me and with her lil' crown... well yeah:) i am quite fond of her i must say, i somehow really like her expression.

The arm looks very skinny and shapeless though and the hand is far too small, hands are actually quite large but I used to do that too. Stephanie S. K.
