SciFi and Fantasy Art: Gone...

imagine: this fairy has just lost everything she had (i was thinking of her child or a very important person to her), bending over the dying one in grief, watching her/him go away... and the next second lifting her head up and looking at you like on this picture... weird story behind it...

listening to coldplay’s “politik”.

coloured pencils on office paper. (2003)

I was flipping through out your pictures enjoying myself, than suddenly clicking on the next one, then popped up this picture... It grabbed my attention like a cat grabbing a mouse. I just sat here and looked at it, with out reading the captain, or even the name I knew her as a fairy and also that she was in grief, fallen upon the sorrows. Though to me she also looks surprised so in my mind I am thinking that someone has betrayed her and killed her loved one. And now there she is holding her loved one slowly slipping farther and farther into darkness also at the same time looking up at one she had trusted...confused. Nice work!

11 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "...wow... what a comment... *blush* - this means soooo much because of the same reason you pointed it out: the feeling comes across... thanks so much dylan for taking your time to write your thoughts down2!!! i really appreciate it2!!!"
