one night i just couldn't help listening to the last unicorns song 'in the sea' over and over again, i always loved that song, but it had never touched me as it did that night. i painted all of the lyrics into a picture, the narwhales, the unicorn, the birds, the flying fish... every single word had to be part of it... and... 'go and ask the magpie, where do unicorns go'...
i found quite some mistakes afterwards, like the feet of the magpie, the feet of the unicorn and such, but all in all i'm really happy with the picture. it turned out just like i imagined, and every feeling about the song is wrapped in it. i love it).
That is such a beautiful picture. I especially like the multicolored smoke stuff coming out from the tree. Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "ehm... that's not supposed to be smoke*g* - i know it looks a whole lot like it, though... it's supposed to be the part of the lyrics: "...In the trees the birds have learned to speakgaily colored, they keep their secretsin a parade of clouds..."...yeah, didn't know how else i could express it! but thanks for your comment!!!"
