SciFi and Fantasy Art: Narzia by the window

once i tried to capture a scene of my favourite fantasy novel "the stone and the flute". in the second book, the main character "listener" ("lauscher") meets this falcon woman called narzia. he falls in love with her and would like to be with her, but she always sends him out to do some tasks for her benefits (because she would never be able to do it herself...), and also to keep him away for a while. she always increases the level of dificutlies on her tasks.

this is her standing by the window seeing lauscher coming back. "i never thought he'd make it this time" - she thinks while watching him (i tried to capture the mix of scepsis and admiration in her gaze). but she still has one task left for him...

i blurred the sides of the picture because i imagined it being a part of some sort of "crystal ball", somebody telling the story of "the stone and the flute", allowing you every once in a while to take a look inside the crystall ball to see the actual characters in some specific scenes while listening to the story.

Wow. I do enjoy your photographs. They make the fantasy worlds in our imaginations come to life. You are quite beautiful, too. Amazing how you can capture the princess/beautiful maiden look with such ease. Keep up the good work!

2 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "wow... *blush* thank you sara for your lovely comment2!!! much of it is also due to the costume i wear;-), it is quite simple but from behind it looks more noble somehow...2 thanks again2!"
