She looks too nice to be evil. Nice photo. Perhaps you should tone the saturation(colors)a bit. Is there a next part in the series?

2 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "...actually you're right - she is not evil;-), there are nice witches, too. well she might just have stolen back the stones that were actually stolen from her...2 what do you mean with toning the colours? more bright? less bright? please tell me2. yes, i am planning on doing more pictures with her as santabruja some day, but i'll have to think of a scene first... thanks for your comment2!!!"

Your mother is beautiful! And wherever did she get that dress? Very, very nice picture.

2 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "wow, thank you2! (also my mom is very flattered...;-)) well these dresses can be bought at regular hippie markets over here, a friend has got a stall and i bought about all of my clothes at his place;-) hehe. or check out the internet - they have loads of things like that. or if you live in the US - "new age creations" do sell beautiful things like that, too2! good luck, and thanks again2!"

He he! Seems like I forgot the one word to make my sentence understandable. What I meant to write was, Perhaps you should tone DOWN the saturation a little. It looks a little to bright and unnatural now. But maybe you want it to look extraordinary. Let me know when you update so that I can have a look at your new pictures 2 It sounds interresting.

3 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "aaah, yeah i see what you mean now2!!! (what mean lil' words can do when not mentioned *g*). yeah the very original was actually more pale so i felt like toning the colours UP ;-), i was aware that it would look somehow unnatural but i felt like many "magic" things the colours seem less unnatural than in real life, i.e., have you seen the movie "merlin" with sam neil? when he goes back to nimueh to stay forever, there's something very odd about the colours - they are too bright and you just KNOW that it has to be a dream or that it is not real (and yes - it was a spell from the witch)... see what i mean2? but you've got a good point on that! i'll let you know whenever santabruja wanders around my gallery again...2 thanks again & happy new year2!"

Ooh, how interesting. She looks like she’s divining something from the stones.

:-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "...wow, yeah! i’ve actually never seen it that way before... what an observation2!!! thanks a lot for your comment and time2!"

I bet that she’s a good person. Great picture, good composition and lovely dress!
