SciFi and Fantasy Art: Wurzelwesen

This picture was done during my trip to thailand. that day we had visited the 'tiger camp', a holy place where now monks and nuns live, and with a lot of great statues and monuments. there are also huge caves, where tigers used to live in a long long time ago. you could see the marks of their paws on the walls. that cave was just amazing! you could see lots of fantasy creatures on its wall, the stones were just looking like weird ghosts and such.

so when i got home that night, i tried to draw one of these ghost faces, and then i remembered that some stones looked just like aliens, which were beeing born off the walls, so somehow this lady came out, getting out of the ground...
